Hi, I’m Liz.
Mom to two sweet girlies, partner to a kind and creative musician/web developer. I am a postpartum doula and amateur chef in Colorado Springs, CO.
Motherhood and the postpartum experience has been an extremely transformative time for me and I love to support others on this crazy journey. It’s a necessary pause, an incredibly open and vulnerable time. A time when we learn just how flippin’ strong we are and also how important it is to ask for help. Where we hopefully find our village, a new way of being in the world, and a little more of ourself in the process.
I’ve always loved food and the moments spent sitting around a table with family and friends. I believe that there aren’t too many days in life that can’t be improved by a steamy bowl of soup with a friend! And so, it’s my goal to make your postpartum experience one where you feel connected, supported, and nourished.
I originally got into birth work after my first wonderful at home water birth experience. I realized what an amazing liminal space birth creates in our universe and I wanted to help others find that wonder, feel supported, and know their options so that they could be empowered through their experience.
Two kids and 5 years later, I’ve stepped back from the on-call life, but I’ve found my niche in postpartum care and crafting nourishing meals!
I am a serial hobbyist(there are just so many cool and creative things you can do!) and some of my current interests are gardening, pottery, hiking, trying to sew my own clothes (and mostly failing), and trying new recipes.
I would love to meet you and chat about how to fill your postpartum time with support and yummy food!
